DTCC’s Project Ion platform goes live in parallel production environment
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) Project Ion platform has gone live in a parallel production environment while upholding the firm’s safety standards. The platform, which is being developed as an alternative settlement platform leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT), is now parallel processing an average of over 100,000 bilateral equity transactions per day. The DTCC subsidiary, The Depository Trust Company’s (DTC’s), classic settlement systems remain the authoritative record.
SEI introduces SEI Data Cloud
SEI has announced the launch of its SEI Data Cloud through a partnership with Snowflake, the Data Cloud company. The investment solutions provider hopes that its new offering will offer clients enhanced data integration capabilities. SEI Data Cloud, Powered by Snowflake, has been designed to offer a scalable, cloud-based data platform that clients can access directly through the SEI Wealth PlatformSM (SWP) or as a standalone service.
AirCarbon Exchange partners with Eventus for market surveillance
Eventus, a multi-asset class trade surveillance solutions provider has partnered with AirCarbon Exchange (ACX) to roll out a market surveillance program for the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM). Eventus’ Validus platform will be deployed to support ACX’s derivatives market.
Finbourne partners with Denominator to offer buy side DEI data
Finbourne Technology has partnered with Denominator, a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), data and scoring provider. The integration of Denominator’s dataset could enhance the investment management solutions provider’s flagship platform, Lusid. Finbourne clients can now access Denominator’s dataset with DEI data and scores on both public and private companies.
Owlin and ApeVue partner for data transparency
Owlin, a risk analytics platform has partnered with ApeVue to offer select insights across both data platforms. ApeVue’s daily pricing service will incorporate Owlin’s news content on private companies, which could provide customers with another source of market context for ApeVue’s dataset. Customers of Owlin’s news analytics will also receive daily pricing data from ApeVue.
Hazeltree secures investment round led by Fintop Capital, joined by Hamilton Lane
Hazeltree, a treasury and liquidity management technology, has secured a $14 million strategic investment. The investment round was led by Fintop Capital, a venture capital firm focused on fintech software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies, and joined by Hamilton Lane, a private markets investment management firm. Rick Kushel, managing partner at Fintop will join Hazeltree’s board.
Torstone Technology’s platform chosen by Irish capital markets firm for post-trade
Davy Capital Markets, an Ireland-based capital markets firm and member of the Bank of Ireland Group, has entered into an agreement to utilize Torstone Technology’s platform for post-trade processing. The Torstone Platform is a multi-asset, multi-entity, cloud-based solution, covering electronic trade capture, allocation, settlement, accounting, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting. The platform has been designed to provide a flexible user experience for middle- and back-office staff, increasing automated straight-through processing (STP).
